WHAT IS latisse?
Latisse is a treatment used to grow lashes on patients that have inadequate eyelashes. Latisse is a manmade version of naturally occurring substance, prostaglandin, which increases the growth, length, thickness, and darkness of a patient’s lashes.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In order to effectively lengthen lashes, Latisse extends the growth phase of your lashes while simultaneously increasing the number of lashes that grow.
HOW LONG DOES latisse LAST?
As Latisse aims to increase the growth phase and production of lashes, your results will not be immediate. It's expected that patients will see a gradual growth over time, so it's important to be patient with the process. You can notice a change as early as one month after treatment. However, you can expect to see the full results four months after your initial treatment.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Latisse is applied to the upper eyelashes with an applicator and it is certainly not a painful process. However, patients can experience common side effects such as itching or redness following the application.
DOES IT REALLY WORK?
One of the most valuable tools for online patients is to see before and after photos of real products. Take a look at Latisse's before and after photos here.
