10 Things To Do While Recovering From Breast Augmentation Surgery

10 things to do while recovering from breast augmentation surgery

Breast augmentation surgery recovery time is usually 24 to 48 hours with an additional few days of reduced activity. It’s important to avoid strenuous activities and especially anything that involves your chest muscles.  If you’ve already gone through breast augmentation surgery, then the hard part is over!

So, now what do you do when you’re feeling sore and can’t go about your normal daily routine?  Check out the list below for some ideas on how to pass the time during your breast augmentation recovery time. Take advantage of your mini vacation, what else are you going to do?

1. Catch up on a Netflix series

Time flies when you’re watching movies/shows on Netflix. Whether you want to catch up on a hit series like Breaking Bad, or simply watch a comedy, your options are limitless.

2. Make someone’s day

What better way to enjoy your mini vacation than dedicating some time to making someone’s day? Write a thoughtful letter to someone close to you or simply send them a message telling them why they’re important to you.

3. Get some fresh air

Sit on your porch or talk a light walk outside and enjoy the sunshine. It’ll feel nice to get out of the house and change up the scenery. Also, it’s a great way to clear your mind and get your endorphins flowing.

4. Discover new music

Unless you’re a huge music buff, most likely you exclusively listen to your favorite artists or whatever’s on the radio. Use your spare time to explore some new music options and get lost in your findings.

5. Read a book

Pick up a book that you’ve been meaning to read or find a topic that truly interest you. Sometimes, the most relaxing moment is just curling up in bed with a nice book by your side.

6. Find a YouTuber you enjoy

YouTube is filled with endless entertainment which is perfect for your recovery “vacation”. Search through the top 100 YouTube channels until you find something that peaks your interest!

7. Rediscover childhood games

Sometimes you need a break from looking at the computer/television and that’s perfectly fine. Have some fun rediscovering your childhood games such as Crosswords, Monopoly, Mancala, Sudoku, etc.

8. Write it out

When you’re sore and limited to a few activities, you can start to feel bottled up. So, grab a journal write down your thoughts throughout the entire process. It’ll be interesting to go back and read about your journey later on.

9. Flip through old pictures

Find an old photo album laying around or simply scroll through your albums on Facebook. A trip down memory lane can get your spirits up and reconnect you with memories from the past.

10. Create a list of recipes

While you may not feel up to cooking now, you’ll definitely be ready to cook when your recovery has ended. Find some interesting, new recipes and make a list of ideas for your next meal.
