WHAT IS restylane?

The Restylane collection is an FDA-approved group of dermal fillers made with hyaluronic acid that aims to plump lips, smooth moderate to severe wrinkles, add volume to the cheeks, and reduce under-eye bags or dark circles.

Restylane Collection:

• Restylane-L - Treats the tear troughs by eliminating or reducing dark circles and eye bags. Typically lasts 6-12 months.

• Restylane Lyft - Treats moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, adds volume to the cheeks, and fills in sunken or hollow temples. Typically lasts up to 12 months when injected in the cheeks and up to 6 months when injected in the hands.

• Restylane Defyne - Corrects smile (nasolabial) lines for a more natural and youthful-looking face. Typically lasts 6-12 months depending on the area injected.

• Restylane Refyne - Corrects smile (nasolabial) lines for a more natural and youthful-looking face. Typically lasts 6-12 months depending on the area injected.

• Restylane Silk - Plumps lips and softens lines around the mouth. Typically lasts up to 6-12 months.

• Restylane Kysse - Plumps lips. Typically lasts 6-12 months.

How Does Restylane Work?

So, how does it work? All of Restylane's products were designed to mimic your naturally produced hyaluronic acid. Once injected, Restylane attracts and binds water molecules in order to enhance volume and/or plump limps. Restylane's NASHA's technology allows a unique particle sizes in order to offer tailored treatments for patient's needs. 

• Fine Particles - Fine particles are used for fine wrinkles.

• Medium-sized Particles - Medium size particles are used for moderate to severe wrinkles.

• Large Particles - Large particles are used for severe wrinkles and patient's seeking a great deal of increased volume.

How Long Does Restylane Last?

While results can vary from patient to patient, you can usually expect:

• Facial Volume: 6-12 months.

• Plump Lips: 6-12 months.

• Smooth Wrinkles: 6-12 months.

• Reduce Undereye Bags: 6-12 months.

Is Restylane Painful?

As with any injection, patients can report feeling pain. However, at HZ Plastic Surgery, we use advanced techniques to ensure as minimal discomfort as possible.
